JSHS Students Selected as 2023 U.S. Presidential Scholars

On May 10th, the U.S. Department of Education announced the 2023 Presidential Scholars. Each year, up to 161 students are named U.S. Presidential Scholars, one of the Nation’s highest honors for high school students. The Scholars represent excellence in education and the promise of greatness in young people. Several JSHS alumni has been recognized as U.S. Presidential Scholars for this year.

Ishika Nag (Florida JSHS) and Stavya Arora (North Central JSHS) were nominated by JSHS for this distinction. Additionally, JSHS alumni Rishab Jain (Oregon JSHS), Madison Echols (Mississippi JSHS), Ambika Grover (Connecticut JSHS), Michelle Li (Georgia JSHS), Sahil Sood (Georgia JSHS), and Cathy Tang (South Carolina JSHS) have been recognized as 2023 U.S. Presidential Scholars. JSHS congratulates these 8 program alumni for this incredible achievement!

The Presidential Scholars Class of 2023 will be recognized for their outstanding achievement this summer with an online recognition program.
